BiomAPI moves optical biometry data between systems. It extracts, validates, normalizes, and exports structured measurements. It also provides temporary sharing.
BiomAPI is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, calculate clinical decisions, or replace professional review. It does not intentionally alter clinical measurements; manual edits are user-directed, and automated processing is limited to extraction, validation, normalization, formatting, and transport.
AI extraction can produce errors. BiomAI can misread a report, miss data, assign values to the wrong eye, or misinterpret a device’s format. Other output errors can also occur. Non-AI processing uses fixed rules, but errors are still possible. Causes include invalid input, entry errors, schema limits, software defects, and integration problems. You must independently check and confirm the data before use, especially after AI extraction.
